She has a Master's degree in Educational Psychology as well as an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University. Nikole officially joined the T.K. Martin center in August 2011. Nikole has 13 years of experience in multiple areas of education, working as a teacher, assistant project evaluator and as a college instructor. At the T.K. Martin Center, Nikole serves on the Center's Project Impact assessment team, assessing children ages 0-3 to determine eligibility for Mississippi's First Steps Early Intervention Program. Nikole is also responsible for grant writing, as well as research. Nikole's areas of interest are the benefits of early intervention on a child's cognitive development, autism, augmentative and alternative communication and the development of natural spoken language.
